The sessions are designed for professionals interested in expanding their expertise in augmented reality (XR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies. No prior knowledge of digital content creation or programming is required. The lessons are structured in a modular format, integrating practical and theoretical components.

Program Objective

To provide systematic theoretical knowledge and practical competences in designing virtual reality user experiences through intensive training methodologies with high learning efficiency.

The curriculum focuses on the design and management of VR projects. Learn how to effectively plan, organise and implement your projects. We will focus on different systems in the Unity Engine virtual reality game development software so that students can learn how to develop VR projects. This course is particularly suitable for those who want to pursue their education in the development of games or virtual reality projects.

About the Courses

Classes will take place on Saturdays from 10.00. 10:00

Duration: 3.5 hours (210 minutes) per session. Theoretical and practical part.

Class cycle: 4 weeks

Technology and equipment: the school is equipped with powerful gaming computers and the latest generation of Oculus Quest 3 goggles. Each student has a 10m2 space to move around safely and fully in the virtual reality environment. Computer monitors are freely adjustable and workstations are equipped with ergonomic chairs to ensure the most comfortable working environment.

Content

Week 1: Virtual reality basics and experience design fundamentals.
Introduction to virtual reality, immersive experience design and its role in VR environments.
VR industry overview, understanding the target audience, planning VR projects.

Week 2: Interactive design and level design.
Game design basics: how to design and structure VR experiences to be immersive and challenging.
Level design: principles of game environment design and dynamic gameplay.

Week 3: Narrative and user experience in VR games.
The importance of narrative design: how to create emotionally compelling stories in VR games.
User experience design in VR games: how to design a comfortable and intuitive user experience.

Week 4: Technical design and publication.
Sound design and its role in increasing immersion. System design and technical skills: from idea to publishing, getting your game on the Meta Quest store and marketing basics.
