A five-day virtual reality game development program designed for students in Grades 7–12. Participants will explore the world of VR technologies and create games using the Unity Engine. The camp will take place from 17.08 to 21.08.2026.
About the sessions
- Arrival from 9:00 to 10:00
- Morning session from 10:00 to 12:00
- From 12:00 to 13:00 lunch break at the business center café (participants must bring €6 per day for lunch)
- Afternoon session from 13:00 to 16:00
- From 16:00 to 17:00 relaxation time — opportunity to move around and play VR games in a shared virtual space
- Each lesson includes a 15-minute break for educational board games or outdoor activities
- Group size: maximum 8 participants
- Equipment: our school is equipped with powerful gaming computers and next-generation Oculus Quest 3 VR headsets. Each student has a dedicated 10 m² space for safe and comfortable movement in virtual reality. Monitors are fully adjustable, and workstations are equipped with ergonomic chairs to ensure maximum comfort.

Day 1: Introduction to the world of virtual reality

- Best VR game examples (Beat Saber, Half-Life: Alyx, Superhot VR) — discussion
- Introduction to Unity and VR tools (XR Interaction Toolkit, OpenXR)
- Practical task: creating your first VR environment in Unity (simple room and objects)
- Summary and Q&A
Day 2: VR game design and interactivity
- Principles of VR game design — how to create a comfortable and engaging experience
- VR controls: teleportation, hand movement, object grabbing
- Building an interactive VR environment — adding physics and motion
Day 3: VR game mechanics and player experience
- Game mechanics in VR — creating a user-friendly environment
- Basic object interaction
- Adding gameplay elements
Day 4: Enhancing the game and testing VR experience
- Sound and visual effects in VR
- UI design for VR games
- Game testing and debugging
Day 5: Final project and presentation
- Each participant presents their VR game
- Discussions and feedback
- Closing ceremony and certificate presentation
