The program is designed for students in grades 7-12. Goal: In-depth understanding of game design, creative processes, and unique approaches to storytelling using digital tools.
About the Sessions
- Arrival from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
- Morning session from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- From 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM lunch break at the office center cafeteria (each day students need to bring €6 for lunch).
- Afternoon session from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
- From 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM recreation time – opportunity to move around and play virtual reality games in a shared virtual space.
- Each class hour includes a 15-minute break, during which we’ll play educational board games or take a break in fresh air.
- Group size: maximum 8 people.
- Technology and equipment: our school is equipped with powerful gaming computers and the latest generation Oculus Quest 3 headsets. Each student has a 10m² space for comprehensive and safe movement in virtual reality. Computer monitors have freely adjustable positions, and workstations are equipped with ergonomic chairs to provide each child with the most comfortable working environment.

- How have computer games evolved over the years?
- Indie vs AAA games – what’s the difference?
- Watching and analyzing excerpts from the film High Score
Day 2: Art and Design in Games
- The importance of visual identity: Hollow Knight, Inside, Gris
- Practical activity: creating a visual concept for your game
Day 3: Games as Interactive Art
- Game analysis: The Sea of Solitude, Kentucky Route Zero
- Exercise: How to create an emotional gaming experience?
Day 4: Game Mechanics Design
- What makes a game engaging? Loop, progression, challenge
- Practical activity: Create your own mini game mechanics
Day 5: Final Presentation and Discussion
- Project presentations
- Game testing and discussion
- Closing ceremony and certificate awarding
