Each session starts with a 30-minute lecture, followed by 30-40 minutes of hands-on practice at your virtual reality workstation. At the end of the lesson, there is an opportunity to move around and play virtual reality games in a shared virtual space.<\/li>\n<li>Group size: maximum 8 people. Each child will have the opportunity to ask the trainer questions and get help in developing their project.<\/li>\n<li>On Sundays, we offer pupils to visit the virtual reality club in order to perform various practical tasks, play games and just have a good time together with other children. Students must sign up for the club after each lesson. Duration of the club session: 90 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Technology and equipment: our school is equipped with powerful\u00a0<em><i>gaming<\/i><\/em>computers and the latest generation of\u00a0<em><i>Oculus Quest 3\u00a0<\/i><\/em> Each student has a 10m2 space to move around safely and fully in the virtual reality environment. Computer monitors are freely adjustable and workstations are equipped with ergonomic chairs to ensure a comfortable working environment for every child.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><b>Curriculum<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0Our curriculum is designed around the abilities and needs of each age group. Each task and project is designed to make the learning process both fun and educational for children. Because our learning groups are small, we ensure that every child is involved and educated. We use the\u00a0<em><i>Show &amp; Tell<\/i><\/em>\u00a0methodology to promote teamwork and cooperation. Our classes are specifically designed to motivate and inspire children to explore, use their creativity, using the basics of game design and the benefits of the\u00a0<em><i>Unity Engine<\/i><\/em>\u00a0virtual reality game development software.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Curriculum content:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Virtual reality games and how they work;<\/li>\n<li>Game design basics: the principles and technical knowledge needed to design games in virtual reality;<\/li>\n<li>Levels and level design in games: how to design levels to be both exciting and challenging;<\/li>\n<li>Narrative design: the importance of an emotional and immersive story when designing games in virtual reality;<\/li>\n<li>System design: the design of game components and mechanisms and its importance;<\/li>\n<li>Sound design: an introduction to creating and incorporating different sounds into the play process;<\/li>\n<li>User experience design: how to ensure that the game you create is easy to understand, convenient and intuitive for the user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A comprehensive educational program focusing on virtual reality game design is tailored for junior participants in grades 4-6, unfolding within a dynamic and engaging setting.
